DESCRIPTION

The NAUI motto is “Dive Safety through Education,” and the Rescue Scuba Diver course will increase your safety skills from what you already learned as a NAUI Scuba Diver.  The Rescue Scuba Diver course is designed to equip certified divers with additional self-rescue skills and to enable them to effectively intervene if their dive buddy experience problems while diving. Learn how to manage risks and effectively handle limited in-water problems and diving emergencies, how to assist and transport divers, and how to perform surface rescues from depth involving both boat and shore based scuba divers.

ACADEMIC

Elearning​

Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR & First Aid and Emergency Oxygen for Scuba Diving Injuries (EO2) certification or a current equivalent certification is required.

We can provide all equipment needed for your Rescue SCUBA class, mask, fins, buoyancy device, weights, tank, regulator

PREREQ

• NAUI Open Water Scuba Diver or the equivalent

• ​All students are required to complete a medical statement that needs to be turned in on the first day of class.  A medical physician's signature may be required. Diver Medical Form

Getting Started

​As long as you are 10 years or older and in good physical condition, you can enroll in a NAUI Advanced Open Water course.  Sign up for your class by calling MAISI Scuba today.  Grab your bathing suit and get ready to have FUN!
