MAISI Scuba School & Dive Shop

 

   Massachusetts Association of Independent Scuba Instructors was established in 2013.  We are located at 178 East Main St. Milford, Massachusetts 32 miles southwest of Boston.  We have easy access off Rte. 495 and plenty of ample parking.  MAISI Scuba is a NAUI Platinum Pro Dive Center.  Our scuba diving training facility & retail establishment is equipped with a Class-E, Oxygen Compatible, Certified Air/Nitrox station.  MAISI Scuba specializes in scuba diving training from Intro to Scuba through Instructor Trainer.  We also teach the complete line of DAN safety courses.  MAISI Scuba employs certified, insured Instructors and Dive Masters.  Our facilities house a training room, office, air compressor & fill station, tank inspection station, and a “clean room” for regulator, tank valve and BCD repair.  Our training classes are kept small for more direct, one-on-one training.  Our open water check-outs are performed at Ft. Wetherill RI, Wallum Lake, Salem,  Rockport, & Gloucester, MA.  We support the East Coast Dive Club (https://eastcoastdiveclub.com) and the MetroWest Dive Club (www.mwdc.org) and recommend that all divers join and attend the monthly meetings and weekly dive destinations that these clubs have to offer.  Joining a dive club is the best way to meet new divers and learn about new changes in the diving industry.  MAISI Scuba was formed to promote and teach the sport of scuba diving.  Make plans today to embark on a journey into the world of scuba diving.  It’s a fun and fascinating sport that is known the world over – offering excitement and challenges for every interest and skill level.  There are countless dive destinations across the globe.  Be assured that your certification will be recognized everywhere whether you are on vacation or travelling on business.  Take time out to explore the other two-thirds of our planet, underwater.  MAISI Scuba supports and services all public safety organizations.    We installed a Mako BAM06H, 13 CFM, 6000 PSI, air compressor.  It has an advanced air filtration and water separation system.  We provide "cold" fills.  Our fill station meets Class E & Oxygen Compatible air purification requirements and has bi-annual scheduled independent air sample testing with the results posted.  We blend our Nitrox using a Nitrox stick and three separate digital monitoring points.  Our compressor is on a regular service contract and our service records are on site for your inspection. Our fill station has 6 fill whips for both yoke and DIN valves.  We also fill pure O2 rescue tanks, Helium, and TriMix.  Our Oxygen is Aviation Grade and our Helium is Grade 5 UHP.  We use a Haskel 2-stage gas booster.  We sell, service, repair and teach Full Face Mask.

 

   Our repair station is equipped with state-of-the-art regulator testing and repair equipment.  Our cylinder inspection and service area is equipped with an internal tank inspection camera, Eddy Current tester, tank tumbler, internal washer & dryer, ceramic media and a glass-bead refinishing chamber. 

 

  Our training pool has graduated depth and is maintained with Sustain® instead of chlorine for the protection of students and equipment.

  Our retail shop is an authorized, stocking dealer for ScubaPro, MARES, Shearwater, OTS, SEAC, XS Scuba, Fourth Element, Interspiro, HOG and A+ Marine.
