    Doug began diving in 2010 - with PADI and progressed through the PADI learning system attaining the Master Scuba Diver Certification. After moving to Boston, he moved to the SSI system and then progressed through the SSI professional program of Dive Guide, Dive Control Specialist, and Instructor with East Coast Divers. He also qualified as a Handicapped Scuba Diver Instructor with the Handicapped Scuba Association. On a personal diving basis, Doug is a TDI advanced Nitrox, decompression, and trimix diver, and is certified on two rebreathers, the Hollis Explorer and Scubaforce SF2. He is an active NAUI instructor and participates most weeks in pool and classroom teaching.
